He was born in Plymouth on May 30, 1925 the son of the late William and Ida Ditter Twohig.
Francis farmed in the Town of Forest until retiring.
Survivors include his sisters, Joann (Jack) Briggs of Brownsville and Kay Kohlman of Fond du Lac; his niece, Jackie Briggs; his nephew, Douglas (Anna) Briggs; his great nephew, John L. Briggs; his great-nieces, Paige and Cortney Briggs, and his canine companion, Grizzly.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Eugene Adrian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6th at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Hwy B Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate and burial will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Armstrong.
